Can a person be denied payment of a life insurance claim due to material misrepresentation?
Yes, a person can be denied payment of a life insurance claim due to material misrepresentation. However, the Insurance Claim Law Firm LLC is usually able to overcome this obstacle, as most supposed misrepresentations are truly not material. Can a life insurance company legitimately delay or deny my claim?
No, but they will do everything to delay your claim (sometimes for years) until you are frustrated and go away, or they will deny your claim, if they think they have a more legitimate reason for denial. The Insurance Claim Law Firm LLC will get the insurance company to pay your claim within 30 days or less, or we will waive our fee.
How long does my life insurance company have to pay me my claim?
The insurance company is supposed to pay you in a reasonable amount of time. This should not be more than 5-6 weeks. If they have not paid you during this time frame, then they have acted in bad faith.
If another person is claiming to be the beneficiary of the policy which is supposed to go to me, what should I do?
Contact us, and we will get the insurance company to pay you the money that you are entitled to.
I have an Accidental Death policy, and my claim has been denied. What should I do?
Our law firm will recover the money that you are due. The insurance company may have said that the deceased had alcohol in his or her bloodstream, thus denying your money. Our law firm has experts which will show that this alcohol was not sufficient to void the policy.
